International Education in the Himalayas Since 1854
About the School:
Established in 1854, Woodstock is a
Christian, international, residential school for boys and girls from grades K-12. It
offers a college preparatory program leading to an American high school diploma, the
Advanced Placement examinations, and Cambridge University IGCSE examinations
Location :
Woodstock's 260-acre campus is located in outskirts of Mussoorie, a
historic hill station in the first range of the Himalayas. Mussoorie is 285 km (178 miles)
north of Delhi, and is 32 km (23 miles) above Dehra Dun, which is accessible by train, bus
or taxi.
The school assists parents in making travel
arrangements and also helps with foreigners' registration, visas and official paper work.
Foreign students must hold a valid student or entry visa.
The nearest international airport is Indira Gandhi
International Airport in New Delhi. The day-long trip from Delhi to Mussoorie can be made
by car, taxi, bus or train. The rail terminus for Mussoorie is Dehra Dun where taxi and
bus service is available for the 37 km (23 mile) climb up the mountain. |
