The Brooklyn School was established in 1987. The school was founded on the public lines, with strong emphasis on Indian cultural values. The school aims at providing the students all round development of the personality of the child.

The school is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi.

The  school campus is  situated in the Bosfell mansion, Brooklyn Estate, in the quiet environment of Dalanwala, conveniently connected to the main Raipur Road.

The registration for the admission must be done by 31st January, which enables the child to appear for the School Entrance Test which is held in the second/third week of February. Before granting the admission to student the school conducts interview of the student.

Academic year - The school's academic year comprises of three terms. The first terms commences in the first week of April and ends in the third week of September and the second term commences in the fourth week of September and ends in the third week of December. The third term is from the second week of January to the last week of March.

Extracurricular activities- students are encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities with an aim to develop all round personalities of the young growing children.

Computer studies are introduced from class III onwards, which helps the students to face the future challenges posed by the explosion of Information Technology & Communication.
