Praful Shah is the Vice President, Strategic Communications of WebEx Communications. Praful has completed his BS in Electrical Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology in India. After completion he move to US where he studied MS in Computer Science from Penn State.

Praful has 20 years of senior management experience with major technology companies. At Oracle, Tandem, and NCR, Praful developed his technological proficiency. While at Oracle, Praful was the marketing senior director for the Internet and database divisions, as well as director of consultant marketing. He was instrumental in the launch of the Network Computing Architecture, Web Application, Electronic Commerce and Oracle8 Database Servers.

During his employment at Tandem, Praful held senior level positions in product management, as well as consultant, product and competitive marketing areas. Founded in 1996, WebEx is the leader in Web Communications Services. It provides Web based carrier class communication services using its multimedia switching platform deployed over global network.

WebEx’s services enable end-users to share presentations, documents, applications, voice and video spontaneously in a seamless environment. WebEx’s services are used across the enterprise in sales, support, training, marketing, engineering, and various other functions.
