Sanjay Anandaram was the co-founder of Neta Inc., a Venture Capital backed startup in 1997. Sanjay researched and wrote the business plan, developed the competitive market positioning, established alliances with companies such as Netscape, coordinated beta customer programs, and actively involved with Mergers and Acquisitions issues and Venture Capitals. Neta developed Internet personalization technology and was acquired by Infoseek/Walt Disney.

He has an expericence of 12 years in the Information Technology field with hands on qualities acquired from both the corporate and entrepreneurial worlds. Before co-fouding Neta, Sanjay worked in Wipro for about 9 years in India and US. While with Wipro, he helped create the communications peripherals, OEM product design services and healthcare SI businesses.
He also helped establish Wipro's design and development center in Cupertino that developed leading edge networking products for companies like UB Networks/Newbridge, Stratacom/Cisco and Adaptec. Sanjay has extensive international experience having also undertaken OEM partnering and channel marketing in the Far East, Middle East and Africa.
Sanjay is a Principal with Jumpstartup. Jumpstartup, established in July 2000, is a $45m early stage VC fund focused on the information technology and technology enabled sectors. It invests in ventures based in India and in those ventures outside of India, which have an India affiliation. The fund is largely backed by leading international financial institutional investors from Asia, the US and Europe. In addition, top professionals from Silicon Valley (a mix of entrepreneurs, corporate executives and VCs) have committed capital, time and their expertise. |
