UK enhances visa extension fee for students

There would be a burdern of around £155 or £250 for students who are seeking extension of stay in Britain. For an Indian student he would have to shell down more Rs 12,000 for extension.

The British Home Office has implemented this rule of charging more for extension visas for overseas students without consulting the higher education establishments.
However this rule is exempted to those who are citizens of European Economic Area nationals, specifically this rule would effect students from India and other developing countries.
