Indian expats celebrate Independence Day

Indian expatriates in Saudi have celebrated the Indian Independence Day with joy and patriotism. Ambassador Kamaluddin Ahmed unfurlled the national flag and read out the President's message to a gathering of expatriates and their families in the embassy premises.

Kamaludding Ahmed said he would pay attention to the community’s problems besides promoting Indian-Saudi relations. 

A reception was hosted for the Indian community at the International Indian School.In Jeddah, Consul General Syed Akbaruddin hoisted the national flag and read out the president’s message at the consulate premises and the International Indian School.
