Qatar Airways awaits permission to fly to Delhi, Bangalore

Qatar Airways is awaiting permission from the Civil Aviation Ministry to fly to Delhi, Bangalore. It is also seeking an approval of expanding the frequency of flights to Hyderabad from thrice a week to daily flight.

Currently the airline is operating from Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Mumbai and Hyderabad. According to Mr. Saeed Parkar, Regional Manager for India, Qatar Airways, said, "We have written to the Civil Aviation Ministry for bilateral talks, which may be scheduled some time next month".
