Korean Air adds additional flights
Korean airlines is operating an additional flight a week to Delhi and Mumbai. The airline has been accorded permission by the Indian authorities for their additional flights after having bilateral talks.
Currently Korean Air operates a twice a weekly flight connecting South Korea and Mumbai, similarly twice a weekly flight between Seoul and Delhi. The agreement which has been signed allows Air India to sell tickets from India to both HongKong and Seoul.
This would have an advantage for Air India as they would be able to sell tickets to the west coast of US directly from India. Previously they had the right to sell but as Korea Air did not carry the flight number of Air India they were not able to sell the tickets. |
