India's forex reserves rise to $83.25 bn
As per Reserve Bank of India weekly statistical supplement, India's forex reserves rose to $83.257 billion for the week ending July 11, 2003. It rose from $82.774 billion a week ago.
The RBI said the foreign currency assets expressed in US dollar terms included the effect of appreciation/depreciation of other currencies held in its reserves such as the euro, pound sterling and yen. |
