Qatar may grant religious freedom to outsiders
Qatar will most probably will amend their constitution to grant freedom of religion and right to worship to all the residents of Qatar inlcuding people who have come from other parts of the world to Qatar.
The issue was discussed during the recent visit of Deputy Prime Minister L.K Advani who met Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. Advani said that every person in Qatar must have religious freedom. The Emir said that since people of Qatar are conservative it will take time to implement the same.
The Qatari authorities may grant permission to churches and temples with appropriate rights to perform their duties.
