Re gains further against US dollar

Rupee further gained ground and closed at 46.1250/46.1350 against dollar. The buoyant mood was seen due to selling pressure as foreign banks were taking their leads in early trades.

Dollar fell to an intraday high of 46.1050/1150 before closing at a comparative level. The mood of the market seem to be with rupee still appreciating further despite doubts expressed by others.
