Punjab and Sind Bank launches RFC (D) a/c

Punjab and Sind bank has launched the Resident Foreign Currency (Domestic) account for resident individuals. The account would be allowed to open in four currencies - US Dollar, Pound, Euro and Yen.

The benefit in the usage of the account is withdrawal can be made only in Indian rupees also and a separate account for each currency has to be opened. Cheque facility is also being provided with the account.

 The account will have the status of being current account and there is no upper limit for keeping balances in this account.
