Bank of Baroda plans office in Tanzania
Bank of Baroda (BoB) is planning to setup a subsidiary in Tanzania for expanding its wings in the global market. The banks first overseas branch was opened at Mombasa in Kenya in 1953 and currently has 61 branches including subsidiaries and joint ventures in 16 countries.
The bank is also in the process of identifying more overseas centers for enhancing the international presence. The proposed overseas business unit in India is expected to be opened within two months. |
