Indian Forex reserves rise to $84.1 bn
As per the statistical supplement released by Reserve Bank of India, Indian foreign exchange reserves rose to $84.101 billion for the week ending July 18, 2003. The comparative forex figure earlier week was $83.257 billion.
The RBI said the foreign currency assets expressed in US dollar terms included the effect of appreciation or depreciation of other currencies held in its reserves such as the euro, pound sterling and yen. |
